Regular Season Round 32: Chalons-Reims - Paris BA 76-73

Eighteenth-ranked Paris BA (3-25) was very close to win a game against seventh ranked Chalons-Reims (18-12) on Tuesday. Chalons-Reims managed to secure only three-point victory 76-73. However their fans expected much easier game. Chalons-Reims forced 24 Paris BA turnovers. The winners were led by Maxime Semelet (199-2002) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and forward Thomas Klein (201-2002) supported him with 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Even 26 points and 9 rebounds by forward Pacome Dadiet (200-2005) did not help to save the game for Paris BA. Power forward Mohamed Diawara (203-2005) added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Chalons-Reims maintains seventh position with 18-12 record. Paris BA lost tenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. Chalons-Reims will meet Orleans (#17) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Paris BA will play against Limoges CSP and hope to secure a win.
