Regular Season Round 32: Cholet - Levallois 93-87

There was a change at the Betclic ELITE ProA leadership position after last games. Round 32 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Metropolitans (23-9). They were defeated by tenth ranked Cholet Basket (17-15) 93-87 on Tuesday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Metropolitans. Cholet Basket forced 20 Metropolitans turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American power forward OD Anosike (203-1991, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Dominic Artis (192-1993, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 22 points and 4 assists during the contest. Five Cholet Basket players scored in double figures. Cholet Basket's coach Laurent Vila used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Will Cummings (188-1992, college: Temple) responded with 26 points and his fellow American import power forward Vincent Hunter (203-1994, college: UTEP) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Cholet Basket moved-up to eighth place. Metropolitans at the other side dropped to the second position with nine games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by ASVEL. Just two games before the end of Regular Season and it may be the most important game of the season next round when Metropolitans faces Pau-Lacq-Orthez trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Cholet Basket will try to continue on its current victory against first ranked ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket on the road.
