Semi-Finals Game 2: Jena - Rostock 97-87

Jena held off Rostock to even the series at 1-1. Science City Jena dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Seawolves' 36. They outrebounded Seawolves 31-19 including 21 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Seawolves helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American center Alex Herrera (206-1992, college: Fort Lewis) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Swiss point guard Jonathan Kazadi (195-1991) chipped in 19 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Four Science City Jena players scored in double figures. Naturalized Brazilian power forward Gabriel De Oliveira (206-1998) produced 17 points and American swingman Nijal Pearson (196-1997, college: Texas St.) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
