There was no surprise when 12th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (13-20) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked JDA Dijon (19-13) 99-85 on Tuesday. JDA Dijon looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American power forward Gavin Ware (206-1993, college: MSU) stepped up and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners and his fellow American import point guard David Holston (173-1986, college: Chicago St.) chipped in 14 points and 11 assists. Four JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. JDA Dijon's coach Nenad Markovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Polish center Dominik Olejniczak (213-1996, college: FSU) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and American Tyler Stone (203-1991, college: SEMO) scored 15 points. The victory was the third consecutive win for JDA Dijon. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Strasbourg. Gravelines-Dunkerque lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 20 games lost. They share it with Roanne and Le Portel. JDA Dijon will meet Le Mans (#9) on the road in the next round. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Entente Orleans 45 and hope to secure a win.
