Everything went according to plan when second ranked Monaco (24-8) won against at home 10th ranked JSF Nanterre (16-17) 84-66 on Tuesday. Monaco dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to JSF Nanterre's 24. Lithuanian center Donatas Motiejunas (213-1990) stepped up and scored 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and American guard Mike James (185-1990, college: Lamar) chipped in 12 points. Four Monaco players scored in double figures. Monaco's coach Sasa Obradovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Thomas Wimbush (201-1993, college: Fairmont St., agency: Octagon Europe) with 16 points and the other American import Chris Horton (202-1994, college: Austin Peay, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 6 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
