Semi-Finals Game 1: Cluj Napoca - Pitesti 98-73

Cluj Napoca dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Pitesti's 40. They outrebounded Pitesti 61-26 including a 25-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Cluj Napoca players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Pitesti's players. Serbian power forward Stefan Bircevic (210-1989, agency: BIG) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and Bosnian-Croatian center Andrija Stipanovic (208-1986, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 12 points and 7 rebounds. Cluj Napoca's coach Mihai Silvasan felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Serbian Mladen Jeremic (198-1988, agency: 011 Sports) came up with 25 points and the former international forward Mihai Maciuca (193-2000, agency: 011 Sports) added 22 points respectively for Pitesti in the defeat.
