Fenerbahce conquered KBSL title. They stormed past Mersin in Game 3 to complete the sweep of the championship series and lift the trophy. The game without a history. Fenerbahce led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Fenerbahce looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. The best player for the winners was German forward Satou Sabally (193-1998, college: Oregon) who scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American point guard Kayla McBride (180-1992, college: Notre Dame) chipped in 19 points. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Fenerbahce's coach Marina Maljkovic felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian-American point guard Shavonte Zellous (178-1986, college: Pittsburgh) who recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds and international center Esra Ural-Topuz (198-1991) added 8 points and 15 rebounds respectively.
