Regular Season Round 34: Le Mans - Dijon 90-62
Date: May 17, 2022
There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Le Mans (17-17) rolled over at home higher ranked JDA Dijon (20-14) 90-62 on Tuesday. They outrebounded JDA Dijon 44-30 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Le Mans looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by JDA Dijon's players. Kosovan-American Scott Bamforth (188-1989, college: Weber St., agency: BeoBasket) notched 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and American point guard Darius Johnson-Odom (187-1989, college: Marquette) supported him with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Even 4 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists by American Rashard Kelly (203-1995, college: Wichita St.) did not help to save the game for JDA Dijon. Trinidad and Tobago-American Khadeen Carrington (193-1995, college: Seton Hall) added 12 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Le Mans maintains ninth position with 17-17 record, which they share with Nanterre. Loser JDA Dijon dropped to the fourth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Limoges CSP.
