The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. VKKM outrebounded VKM 44-32 including 18 on the offensive glass. Kristupas Keinys (199-2004) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Arnas Knystautas (186-2004) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Danielius Kasparas (198-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and guard Laurynas Klimas (182-2004) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. VKM's coach Linas Salkus rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
