ALBA Berlin earned NBBL title. They stunned Quakenbrieck in the title game to lift the trophy. ALBA Berlin dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Young Dragons' 16. ALBA Berlin forced 31 Young Dragons turnovers and outrebounded them 45-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Young Dragons' players. 36 personal fouls committed by Young Dragons helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Rikus Schulte (206-2004) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Elias Rapieque (200-2004) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. Jegor Cymbal (197-2004) answered with 19 points and Johann Gruenloh (204-2005) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for Young Dragons. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
