Fenerbahce cruised past Darussafaka in the opener. Fenerbahce shot 61.1 percent from the field and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Fenerbahce especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Dacka's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Senegalese point guard Pierria Henry (193-1993, college: Charlotte) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Jordanian center Ahmad Al-Dwairi (209-1993) contributed with 10 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. American point guard Troy Caupain (193-1995, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import Nathan Boothe (206-1994, college: Toledo) added 19 points in the effort for Dacka. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
