Oradea clinched the third position as they rallied past Pitesti on the road. The game was mostly controlled by Oradea. Pitesti was better in third quarter 24-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Pitesti's 30. They outrebounded Pitesti 51-22 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Serbian-French center Alexandre Gavrilovic (208-1991, college: Towson) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Garlon Green (201-1991, college: TCU, agency: Slash Sports) supported him with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Oradea's coach Cristian Achim felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by Montenegrin forward Goran Gajovic (199-1988, agency: 011 Sports) did not help to save the game for Pitesti. Serbian Mladen Jeremic (198-1988, agency: 011 Sports) added 12 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Four Pitesti players scored in double figures.
