Finals Game 1: Rytas - Lietkabelis 68-77

Lietkabelis claimed the opening victory in the Finals. They stunned Rytas in Vilnius. Lietkabelis made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Rytas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Greek swingman Panagiotis Kalaitzakis (197-1999, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 16 points. Serbian center Djordje Gagic (210-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Lietkabelis players scored in double figures. The former international Gytis Radzevicius (197-1995) answered with 7 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Margiris Normantas (194-1996) added 11 points in the effort for Rytas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
