Finals Game 3: Zalgiris - Siauliai 85-70

Zalgiris claimed LKL third place as they cruised past Siauliai in Game 3. Zalgiris dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Siauliai's 22. They outrebounded Siauliai 32-21 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Zalgiris especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for American power forward Josh Nebo (206-1997, college: Texas A&M, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with 11 points and 6 rebounds. International center Marek Blazevic (209-2001) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Zalgiris' coach Kazys Maksvytis used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Donatas Sabeckis (197-1992) answered with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and swingman Martynas Varnas (196-1997) added 12 points in the effort for Siauliai. Four Siauliai players scored in double figures.
