Regular Season Round 1: Snaefell - KR 76-78

Very significant was KR's just 2-point road victory against Snaefell 78-76. Snaefell was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. Snaefell was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 20-17 charge of KR, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Violet Morrow (176-1997, college: EWU, agency: Interperformances) nailed a double-double by scoring 32 points and 18 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Perla Johannsdottir (168-1993) accounted for 11 points and 9 rebounds. Morrow is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Bulgarian center Preslava Koleva (191-1999) came up with 24 points and 9 rebounds and Maltese guard Ylenia Bonett (170-2003, agency: DC Sports) added 16 points, 7 rebounds, 12 assists and 9 steals respectively for Snaefell in the defeat. KR will play against Hamar at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Snaefell will play against Breidablik B in Kopavogur and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
