But AZS PC was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Gliwice 89-78 on Saturday night. Gliwice 2 forced 24 AZS PC turnovers. Guard Igor Krzych (182-2003) nailed 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Filip Maciejewski (192-2005) accounted for 15 points. Four Gliwice 2 players scored in double figures. Forward Kamil Nawrot (198-2002) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and Dawid Jozefowski (184-1996) added 33 points (!!!) respectively for AZS PC in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gliwice 2 will meet at home Resovia in the next round which should be an easy win for them. AZS PC will play against Bielsko-Biala and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
