But Gimbasket was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Klodzko 106-94 on Saturday night. Klodzko dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Gimbasket's 32. Klodzko forced 20 Gimbasket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Gimbasket's players. Guard Michal Weiss (188-1982) nailed 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and guard Rafal Wojciechowski (192-1985) accounted for 15 points and 11 assists. Mateusz Putna came up with 31 points and forward Pawel Galczynski (195-1998) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Gimbasket in the defeat. Four Klodzko and five Gimbasket players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Klodzko will meet at home Gorzow in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gimbasket will play against Olesnica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
