BC Lulea dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Fryshuset's 32. BC Lulea forced 27 Fryshuset turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. BC Lulea brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. American forward Brendan Bailey (203-1997, college: Marquette) notched 28 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Marcus Evans (188-1996, college: VCU, agency: Green Sports Management) supported him with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four BC Lulea players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 7 assists by Jamaican-Canadian point guard Jahmal Jones (185-1991, college: Ryerson) did not help to save the game for Fryshuset. Montenegrin center Miki Novovic (208-1992) added 9 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. Fryshuset's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. BC Lulea will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fryshuset will play on the road against Koping Stars to get more than just one victory in their record.
