Regular Season Round 2: Oppsal - Baerum Basket 66-107
Date: September 28, 2022
The game with biggest result difference took place in Oslo. Local Oppsal was outscored by Baerum Basket 107-66 on Wednesday night. Baerum Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Oppsal's 36 and made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. The former international forward Sjur Dyb Berg (201-1996, college: Alaska-Anch.) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Stian Mjoes (183-1989) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) during the contest. Guard Thomas Ble (185-1989) responded with 24 points and Etienne Aspevik scored 13 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Baerum Basket will meet Nidaros Jets in the next round. Oppsal's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Oslo Ammerud Bskt.
