Regular Season Round 2: Armann - Fjolnir 112-110

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Reykjavik: Armann and Fjolnir. Despite it looked like an easy game for Armann, those rules do not exist in derby games. It's more the case of honor for local supporters and such games have that special and unique approach you cannot find in other games. How else can you describe just 2 points victory of Armann 112-110. Point guard Arnor Hermannsson (192-1998) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 assists. Kristofer Gislason (194-1996) contributed with 28 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Kendall Scott (198-1999, college: MACU) replied with 34 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Spanish point guard Arturo Fernandez (183-1990, agency: Helping Ballers) added 18 points and 5 assists in the effort for Fjolnir. Five Armann and four Fjolnir players scored in double figures. Armann will play against Hrunamenn in Fludir in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fjolnir will play at home against Skallagrimur and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
