But Roser was not able to use a home court advantage and was outplayed by the opponent from Valls 64-43 on Saturday night. Valls forced 20 Roser turnovers. Guard Raul Timoner (185-1997, college: Rio Grande) fired 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized Brazilian forward Marcus Vinicius (201-1986) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Valls players scored in double figures. Guard Marc Bertomeu (183-1995) produced 12 points and Pol Parisi (-1996) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Valls will meet at home Olivar in the next round. Roser will play against Pinta Castell in Es Castell and hope to win that game.
