Regular Season Round 2: RIG Lulea - Akersberga 99-84

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when Akersberga was defeated on the road by RIG Lulea 99-84 on Saturday. RIG Lulea looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Akersberga's players. The best player for the winners was guard Kirat Singh (193-2004) who had a triple-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Hugo Backman chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. Arvid Lindgren produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Joel Halling added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Akersberga's coach rotated ten players saving starting five for next games. RIG Lulea will meet at home AIK 2 in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Akersberga's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Stockholm to the arena Alvik.
