Kobrat defeated Kauhajoki in Lapua 81-72. Kauhajoki trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 22-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 72-81 at the end of the game. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard KJ Jackson (188-1998, college: UMBC) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 assists. Forward Danny Pippen (206-1997, college: Kent St.) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Guard Cameron Jones (193-1989, college: NAU, agency: BIG) answered with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Lee Skinner (198-1992, college: Wofford) added 9 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Kauhajoki. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kauhajoki will play next round against Vilpas trying to get back on the winning streak. Kobrat will try to continue on its current victory against Pyrinto in Tampere.
