Regular Season Round 2: Klodzko - Gorzow 89-51

The most important game of round 2 took place in Klodzko of Group D where Klodzko crushed Gorzow 89-51 on Saturday night. Klodzko dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Gorzow's 30. They outrebounded Gorzow 49-24 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Klodzko looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Gorzow's players. Power forward Kuba Nizinski (190-2003) scored 26 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Rafal Wojciechowski (192-1985) chipped in 11 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Klodzko players scored in double figures. Center Norbert Grzegorczyk (197-2000) responded with 9 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Konrad Jelski (183-1996) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gorzow will play next round against Olesnica trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Klodzko will try to continue on its current victory against Sudety in Jelenia Gora.
