Very predictable result in Pruszkow where Znicz smashed Minsk Maz. 105-79 on Saturday. Znicz dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Minsk Maz.'s 32. Znicz forced 25 Minsk Maz. turnovers and outrebounded them 41-24 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Mateusz Szwed (200-1991) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Forward Maciej Czemerys (197-1999) chipped in 28 points. Five Znicz players scored in double figures. Krzysztof Grudzien (196-1992) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and guard Kacper Skup (188-2002) added 13 points and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Minsk Maz.'s coach Rafal Krol gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Znicz will meet at home Tur Bielsk Pdl. in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Minsk Maz. will play against Legionowo and hope to win that game.
