Rather predictable result in Grodno where Victoria defeated RGUOR 65-50 on Saturday. Victoria held RGUOR to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 30.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Victoria forced 27 RGUOR turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by RGUOR's players. Ksenia Gulida (-2006) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Aleksandra Polubok (154-2006) chipped in 6 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Olga Trigribtseva (-2007) responded with 8 points and 20 rebounds and Elizaveta Grishkevich (-2007) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Victoria are looking forward to face Tsmoki-Minsk on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. RGUOR's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk Gorizont 2.
