J.Gora used a home court advantage and outplayed the opponent from Ponzan 79-60 on Sunday night. J.Gora made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. J.Gora outrebounded Enea AZS II P. 43-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Alicja Szloser (179-1997) nailed 17 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and the former international center Martyna Koc (193-1983) accounted for 16 points and 12 rebounds. Four J.Gora players scored in double figures. Guard Martyna Glowczak (175-2007) came up with 17 points and center Wiktoria Haegenbarth (186-2007) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Enea AZS II P. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. J.Gora will meet Aleksandrow L. in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Enea AZS II P. will play against Pol.Krakow and hope to win that game.
