Regular Season Round 3: Le Mans - Cholet 90-82

There was no surprise when Cholet Basket (1-1) lost on the road to Le Mans (3-0) 90-82 on Tuesday. Le Mans looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Matt Morgan (188-1997, college: Cornell) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 5 assists. The former international guard Terry Tarpey (195-1994, college: William & Mary) accounted for 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. American guard Dominic Artis (192-1993, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) came up with 17 points and the other American import forward Perry Ellis (203-1993, college: Kansas) added 17 points respectively for Cholet Basket in the defeat. Cholet Basket's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Le Mans will meet JDA Dijon (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Cholet Basket will play against SIG Strasbourg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
