Handlova recorded a loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Iskra Svit 85-73. American point guard Tavon King (180-1997, college: Cumberland) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Serbian point guard Sasa Avramovic (193-1993, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 25 points and 4 assists. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by American guard Keon Clergeot (185-1996, college: SE Louisiana, agency: GoEmpire Group) did not help to save the game for Handlova. His fellow American import swingman Elizjah Scott (198-1999, college: LMU) added 18 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Four Handlova players scored in double figures. Iskra Svit will play against Spisski Rytieri in Nova Ves in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
