Regular Season Round 3: Berck - Tours 69-79

But Berck was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Tours 79-69 on Friday night. They made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Tours outrebounded Berck 40-26 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Polish point guard Jakub Schenk (184-1994) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Pierre-Etienne Drouault (196-1990) helped adding 13 points and 4 assists. Four Tours players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Alexandre Mendy (189-1990) with 18 points and 5 steals and swingman Dominique Gentil (197-1988) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tours will meet at home Poitiers (#11) in the next round. Berck will play against Les Sables in Les Sables-D'Ollone and hopes to get finally their first victory.
