Regular Season Round 3: Borisfen - Rubon 111-75

There was no surprise in Mogilev where Rubon (1-3) was crushed by Borisfen (3-1) 111-75 on Saturday. Borisfen shot 64.8 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 70.4 percentage. Borisfen looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Rubon's players. It was a great evening for American forward Darrious Agnew (203-1999, college: Alcorn St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points. Russian forward Vadim Balyakin (199-1990) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Borisfen players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (200-1990, agency: BIG) with 17 points and guard Anton Shchurko (188-1997) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Borisfen will meet Grodno on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rubon will play against Gomel (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
