Regular Season Round 3: Siechnice - Slask 3 71-55

Siechnice used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Wroclaw 71-55 on Saturday night. Siechnice outrebounded Slask 3 47-28 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Kajetan Grzeskiewicz (196-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Guard Marek Mitman (185-2002) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Karol Kankowski (202-2005) who recorded 13 points and 8 rebounds and Wojciech Siembiga (195-2003) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Siechnice will meet Koscian (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Slask 3 will play against Prudnik (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
