Regular Season Round 2: Granollers - Tarragona 75-73

Granollers used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Tarragona 75-73 on Saturday night. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Granollers made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Tarragona turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Carles Homs (196-1996) who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Jordi Auro chipped in 20 points. Four Granollers players scored in double figures. Point guard David Fernandez (179-1991) produced 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Marc Buscail (-2003) added 14 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Granollers will meet Navas on the road in the next round. Tarragona will play against Helios and hope to win that game.
