Regular Season Round 3: Lommel - Limburg B 71-78

There was a small surprise when Limburg B (1-2) defeated on the road Lommel (1-2) 78-71 on Saturday. It was a great evening for forward Wout Leemans (192-2001) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Frits Hermans (187-1997) helped adding 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Limburg B players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Matts De Keuster (198-1999) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and Bram Schelkens (182-1998) scored 19 points. Lommel's coach Ronnie McCollum rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Limburg B will meet at home Guco Lier in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lommel will play against Melsele and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
