Regular Season Round 2: Langhe Roero - Vigevano 51-85

No shocking result in a game when Vigevano crushed Langhe Roero in Corneliano d'Alba 85-51 on Saturday. Vigevano outrebounded Langhe Roero 47-26 including a 40-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Vigevano especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Forward Lorenzo DAlessandro (198-1996, agency: SLN) notched 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and point guard Filippo Rossi (193-1997) supported him with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 17 points by Matteo Corgnati (186-2004) did not help to save the game for Langhe Roero. Forward Francesco Cravero (200-2003) added 9 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vigevano will meet at home Legnano K. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Langhe Roero will play against Oleggio and hope to win that game.
