Regular Season Round 4: Norrort - Sloga Uppsala 84-107

Undefeated Norrort (1-1) recorded its first loss in Taby. Hosts were rolled over by eighth ranked Sloga Uppsala (2-1) 107-84. Sloga Uppsala shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Norrort was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Greek point guard Mannos Nakos (179-1988) who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Naturalized Serbian forward Dragan Damjanovic (203-1988) contributed with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Kasper Adolfson (193-1995) replied with 22 points and guard David Niklasson (193-1995, college: N.Platte CC) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Norrort. Four Norrort players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sloga Uppsala moved-up to fifth place. Norrort at the other side dropped to the eighth position with one game lost. Sloga Uppsala will play against league's second-placed Helsingborg at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Norrort will play against Eskilstuna (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
