Regular Season Round 2: Sokolow P. - GTK Gdynia 74-64

Sokolow P. used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Gdynia 74-64 on Sunday night. Sokolow P. forced 25 GTK Gdynia turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Wiktoria Jastrzebska (169-2003) who scored 22 points and 6 steals. Guard Kamila Platek (170-1999) chipped in 19 points. Sokolow P.'s coach Maciej Kruszewski used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Power forward Magdalena Szulc (182-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Marta Marcinkowska (182-1998) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Sokolow P. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. GTK Gdynia will play against Wolomin and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the EBLK just one year after relegation.
