There was a minor upset when Teramo was edged at home by Monopoli AN 74-72 on Sunday. Monopoli AN had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Kevin Cusenza (200-1993) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and Federico Ingrosso (190-1994) supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Monopoli AN players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 9 rebounds by forward Emidio Di Donato (198-1992) did not help to save the game for Teramo. Guard Lorenzo Calbini (185-2003) added 17 points for the hosts. Teramo's coach Andrea Gabrielli tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Monopoli AN will meet at home Pozzuoli in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Teramo will play against Pescara Bsk A and hope to win that game.
