Trento used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Treviso 66-57 on Sunday night. The former international Diego Flaccadori (193-1996) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Darion Atkins (203-1992, college: Virginia) chipped in 11 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Trento players scored in double figures. Polish swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-1992) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Finnish forward Mikael Jantunen (204-2000, college: Utah) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Treviso's coach Marcelo Nicola tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Trento will meet Varese on the road in the next round. Treviso will play against Sassari and hope to win that game.
