Maccabi Rishon outrebounded E.Shomron 49-30 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Power forward Jonatan Mor (204-1995) nailed 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and American guard Isaiah Cousins (193-1994, college: Oklahoma) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Keith Stone (206-1997, college: Miami, FL) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Raijon Kelly (193-1993, college: Angelo St.) added 13 points respectively for E.Shomron in the defeat. Maccabi Rishon will meet H.Hevel Modi'in on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. E.Shomron will play against M.Ramat Gan and hope to win that game.
