There was a minor upset in Paris where 12th ranked Tours (1-4) was edged by fourteenth ranked CFBB (1-4) 65-63 on Friday. CFBB outrebounded Tours 41-23 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Wilson Jacques (212-2005) who scored 9 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Nolan Traore (190-2006) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. CFBB's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Pierre-Etienne Drouault (196-1990) produced 15 points and 8 assists and guard Valentin Vitale-Boiteux (187-2001) added 19 points respectively for the guests. CFBB left bottom position moving up to twelfth place in Group A, which they share with Tours and Berck. CFBB will meet league's second-placed Union Rennes on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tours will play against the league's leader C'Chartres (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
