Regular Season Round 4: Levice - Iskra Svit 106-100

Nike SBL top team - Levice (3-1) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Iskra Svit (1-3) 106-100. Levice looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. The winners were led by American forward Deshawn Freeman (201-1994, college: Rutgers, agency: One Motive Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Slovenian guard Miha Lapornik (194-1993) supported him with 26 points and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 4 blocks by Brazilian forward Kayo Goncalves (203-1999, college: USA) did not help to save the game for Iskra Svit. American point guard Tavon King (180-1997, college: Cumberland) added 27 points and 8 assists for lost side. Five Levice and four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 3-1 record, which they share with Spisski Rytieri. Iskra Svit at the other side dropped to the bottom place with three games lost. They share the position with Handlova. Levice will meet league's second-placed Spisski Rytieri in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Iskra Svit will play against Prievidza (#4) and hope to win that game.
