Very predictable result in Szczecin where top-ranked WKS Slask (4-0) outscored 6th ranked Wilki Morskie (2-2) 103-78 on Saturday. WKS Slask looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Lukasz Kolenda (195-1999) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 5 assists and American point guard Jeremiah Martin (189-1996, college: Memphis) who added 19 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four WKS Slask players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Zac Cuthbertson (201-1996, college: Coastal) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and the former international guard Andrzej Mazurczak (188-1994, college: UW-Parkside) scored 18 points and 8 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. WKS Slask have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Stal. Loser Wilki Morskie dropped to the seventh place with two games lost. They share the position with Legia and Spojnia. WKS Slask will meet Czarni (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Wilki Morskie will play against Legia (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
