Regular Season Round 4: Nidaros Jets - Asker Aliens 69-57

There was a small surprise in Tromdheim where eleventh ranked Nidaros Jets (1-6) defeated bottom-ranked Asker Aliens (0-5) 69-57 on Saturday. Nidaros Jets looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Forward Jakob Baiden (194-1993) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Mikkel Aarnes (184-2000) chipped in 14 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. American guard Joshua Hart (194-1990, college: Va Intermont) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and Oliver Bergstad (-2004) added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Nidaros Jets left bottom position moving up to tenth place. It was Asker Aliens' fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Nidaros Jets will meet higher ranked Froya Basket (#3) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Asker Aliens will play against Oppsal (#9) in Oslo and look forward to get finally their first victory.
