Regular Season Round 3: Osijek - Sonik P. 93-55

Very expected game when Sonik P. (0-3) was smashed on the road by Osijek (3-0) 93-55 on Saturday. Osijek dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Sonik P.'s 30. They outrebounded Sonik P. 50-30 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Osijek looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Sonik P.'s players. It was an exceptional evening for Bosnian center Matej Perkovic (204-2001) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Bosnian power forward Gojko Sudzum (202-1994) accounted for 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Osijek players scored in double figures. Forward Dominik Zelanto (198-2000) came up with 4 points and 10 rebounds and Frane Sango (-2005) added 14 points respectively for Sonik P. in the defeat. Sonik P.'s coach Jakov Vladovic gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Osijek will meet Mladost (#5) in the next round. Sonik P. will play against H.Analitica (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
