Rather expected game in Minsk where 5th ranked Victoria (2-4) was crushed by leader Gorizont (4-0) 85-62. Gorizont forced 23 Victoria turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Victoria's players. Center Palina Katlinskaya (185-2003) nailed 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and the former international center Anastasiya Verameyenka (195-1987) accounted for 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Gorizont players scored in double figures. Maria Liaskouskaia (-2007) came up with 12 points and 6 rebounds and forward Alesia Slizh (182-2004) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Victoria in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Gorizont. Defending champion maintains second place with 4-0 record behind leader Olimpia. Victoria lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with four games lost.
