Regular Season Round 4: WKK Wroclaw - Bytom 96-62

Rather expected game when bottom-ranked Polonia (0-4) was smashed by twelfth ranked WKK (2-2) in Wroclaw 96-62 on Sunday. WKK forced 22 Polonia turnovers. It was a great shooting night for WKK especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Polonia's players. The winners were led by forward Szymon Kiwilsza (201-1997) who scored that evening 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and the former international Michal Gabinski (202-1987) supported him with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds by center Michal Sadlo (208-1994) did not help to save the game for Polonia. Michal Chrabota (196-1999) added 17 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. WKK moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 7 other teams. Newly promoted Polonia still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Krakow and Lublin 2. WKK will meet Enea Basket (#7) in the next round. Polonia will play against SGH (#17) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
