Regular Season Round 3: Taranto - Sant Antimo 70-56

There was a surprise result when Taranto (2-1) defeated at home Sant Antimo (2-1) 70-56 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was point guard Francesco Villa (181-1997, agency: SLN) who scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Naturalized Argentinian power forward Enzo Cena (200-1992, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Guido Scali (195-1998, agency: SLN) who recorded 9 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Giorgio Sgobba (198-1992, agency: Players Group) added 12 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taranto will meet Caserta BLE (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sant Antimo will play against Pozzuoli (#15) and hope to secure a win.
