Regular Season Round 3: Roseto - Caserta BLE 74-71

There was a minor upset when Caserta BLE (1-2) was edged on the road by Roseto (1-2) 74-71 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Serbian swingman Nemanja Dincic (202-1998) who scored 22 points. Naturalized Argentinian guard Nicolas Morici (191-1994, agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Four Roseto players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Alessandro Sperduto (193-2000) who recorded 23 points and point guard Diego Lucas (178-1996, college: St.Mary's, KS) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Caserta BLE's coach Sergio Luise rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Roseto will meet Cassino (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Caserta BLE will play against Taranto (#4) and hope to win that game.
