Savona used a home court advantage and outplayed the opponent from 85-65 on Sunday night. Savona dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to RO SAzzurra's 32. Savona had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Polish Karolina Pobozy (190-1996) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Beatrice Paleari (175-2001) chipped in 20 points. Four Savona players scored in double figures.
